nature is poetry

writing. photography. filmmaking.

natureza é poesia      natur ist poesie     natura è poesia      nature est poésie     naturaleza es poesía      自然は詩です

nature is poetry

I create poems, images and audiovisual performances from experiences in nature

haikai poems based on my photos and films

5-7-5: haikai is a poem format which uses 3 verses with a total number of 17 syllables, divided in 5 syllables in the first verse, 7 syllables in the second verse and 5 syllables in the third verse

in this format I search for a direct, intense poetry, mirrored in the moments of daily life and in images of nature

camuflo-me na

paisagem de inverno:

Sol, árvore, sou.

o vento move

as águas as árvores

os capins ao sol

nature is scenery

I contemplate and unite to the landscape,

camouflaging myself between the elements, creating performative and cinematographic art

nature is our home

by investigating nature elements I rediscover my belonging

project moor gebiet (swamp areas)

give me "moor"* nature / gib mir moor natur

I have been in contact with the swamp landscapes of Brandenburg

in these landscapes I take my photos, make my films and my art experiments

I hear and record the sound of cranes and other birds

the swamp is a place for ritualistic moments

I see how people look for relaxation, daily habits, and fun in nature

I also see how much trash people leave behind their way after the weekends

in Brazil there is naturally a huge area of floodplain, similar to swampy regions: the Pantanal matogrossense

my aim in this project is to bring both areas closer

*wordplay: the idiom in Englisch "give me more" -> the word more sounds just like to word´"Moor" in German,  which means swamp, that is why I chose the sentence "give me moor nature" as project title, since I concentrate on swamp areas

Pantanal - Mato Grosso do Sul - Brazil

Swamp "Eichwerder Moorwiesen" - Germany
